In the spring (April-May)

In the summer (June-August)
- Seabird colonies in full swing: guillemots and razorbills on their ledges until mid-July. Kittiwake and fulmar chicks stay into August.
- Red deer calves born.
- The heathland blooms in August-a carpet of pink, purple and yellow.
In the autumn (September-October)
- Grey seal pups on every beach.
- Porpoises seen regularly in Ramsey sound.
- Offshore seabird passage, and unusal migrants passing through from Ireland, Greenland and Scandanavia.
