In the spring (April-May)
  • Peregrines,choughs and ravens nesting on the cliffs.
  • Unusual spring migrants passing through.
  • Cliff flowers at their best, an unforgettable palette of pink, blue and yellow.

In the summer (June-August)
  • Seabird colonies in full swing: guillemots and razorbills on their ledges until mid-July. Kittiwake and fulmar chicks stay into August.
  • Red deer calves born.
  • The heathland blooms in August-a carpet of pink, purple and yellow.

In the autumn (September-October)
  • Grey seal pups on every beach.
  • Porpoises seen regularly in Ramsey sound.
  • Offshore seabird passage, and unusal migrants passing through from Ireland, Greenland and Scandanavia.
