Cindy Sheean, mother of fallen US soldier, was removed from G Bush's State of the Union address for wearing a t-shirt with an anti-war slogan. She had kept the shirt covered up until Bush had begun to speak, at which point police handcuffed her and led her away.
She was charged with unlawful demonstration, as it is ilegal to protest in the government building where the speech was made.
Makes you proud to be part of the free world, don't it!

I see yet again, more murderers have been convicted of ''Manslaughter'' because the hands of the police forces are tied of what to actually charge these monsters with to ensure of custodial sentences.
When?? Will the government change the laws that mean so much more in modern society for the good..........than beating each other with pseudo political sticks????

Dear Dear, It is not up to the police what crime you have done, it is up to the courts.
They are desprate for more police in this country so if you are that concerned do something about it.
What you fail to tell us is all the people who have been prosecuted for murder. Not all murderors plan what to do and then do it. So manslator can sometimes be the best option

People may not plan to kill, but when they "accidentally" stab someone to death, or get in a rage with their victim so they kill them,a murder charge should be made.

I apologise Bigcheese.........
Just cos i was around my step grandmas house the other day and only wanted to rob her, of her life savings when she tried to stop me ( not withstanding the fact she was 80 and i am 18 and have my brother and his mate with me ) I really didn't mean to kill her, i just beat her for a while and then strangled her to stop her from calling out for help.
Guilty of Manslaughter. Cobblers!

And, you can guarantee that if the old lady octogenarian survived, and one of her attackers had been given a bruise by her, the system would actively look to see if they could do her for assault!

Basicaly the wonderful Crown Prosecution Service will go for the easiest conviction as usual.
