Dyfed Caf

Post by Magic_Man » Thu Dec 01, 2005 11:38 pm

I can't believe it is the year 2005 and St. Davids has one chippy, and a disgusting one at that. The chips are foul and expensive, the sausages taste like cat faeces stuffed into a hosepipe, and the rissoles are akin to a dead mouse wrapped in a loaf of Hovis.

We have to endure the traumatic experience of driving through Fishguard to get a reasonable feed. The people I feel most sorry for are the unsuspecting tourists who enter with high expectations and come out almost in tears. Dinas chippy is an example of how chippy food should taste, Dyfed Caf, look and learn!

Gorgeous staff? Gorgeous is the last word I would employ to describe Robert Cook.

The boy once stole a Fruit Corner from a teacher's handbag in primary school, and upon getting caught he denied it. Even though his face was smeared with Strawberry jam.

Anyway, back on to the burning issue, I am suprised to see so many people are satisfied with the derth in quality quisine on offer at Dyfed Faff :? .

As long as people eat there, that place will never change. There will always be some desperate tourist.
Thinking of over-priced purveyors of 'food', has the butchers got any better?

Out of pure desperation and starvation I purchased some "food" from the Dyfed Caf the other day. I'm all for giving something another chance, advocating that a leopard can change its spots.

Can it f**k. I only bought a small chips with mayo and that cost the princely sum of £2.40. The mayonnaise cost an astonishing £1.00 extra, for what essentially looked like an anonymous sperm donor's latest discharge in a plastic cup.

On top of that, the chips were cold, dry and stiff like the fingers of a corpse which has lain in the Nairobi desert for three weeks and then been put in a fridge for preservation.

St. Davids desperately needs some sort of competition for this malignant tom cat's turd down the back of an alley. If a kebab house opened up on the square, Dyfed Caf would go out of business overnight.

I bought £1 worth of chips in a fish and chip shop in the midlands a few weeks ago, and I couldnt believe the amount of chips I got there. Too much for one.

You mean you couldn't fit them all in?
Here's to the sons of the Gwerin
Who care not for Prince or for Queen
Who will haul down the Red White and Blue boys
And hoist up the Red White and Green.
