Don't go Prancer! Just publicly denounce any suggestion that you are connected to Fegg and they'll stop. On the other hand, if you are Fegg

I have a genuine question, all joking aside. If you had a friend who persitantly ignored your electronic attempts to contact him/her, at which point would you give up? Supposing the friendship had been important to you, very important, but the said friend simply remained silent. How long before you accept the unspoken message?
Anyone here been through something like that?

It depends on the past behaviour of the friend. I have a friend who regularly does not reply for a few months when she gets into a tizz over something then reappears full of apologies.

Try another message saying you've nearly given up hope of hearing anything. If that doesn't work, you may have to accept it...

It's not Fegg is it?

Hi Sue, no, I'm not talking about old fegg, I think he's scarpered.
We've had quiet times before, but never the situation where I've specifically mentioned him not trepsonding. All sorts of strange things pass through yourt mind when the friendship matters, and circumstances place you geographically far apart.
Silence can do funny things to you.

All sorts of things can happen which mean friendships get put on the back burner. I would try letting the person know your concerns and that they are important to you. If they want to stay friends, that should wake them up.

If it doesn't work, you have to wonder if a person who stops communicating for no reason is worth the effort?

Fegg and his pythonites are worth listening to. His "bad book for boys and girls" is a veritable bible. Especially crossing the Andes by frog. Day 1: Loaded frog with back pack and squashed it!!

Fegg disciple. :D

I thought it was the Three Degrees who played football, not the Supremes.

That's suggesting I have any connection to him outside the wonderful world of cyberspace. A suggestion which I completely refute (ie- No).

Yes Sue, but being a solicitor, surely you could speak to an old mate who works in the office to look up the records - I've seen it dome countless times on telly.
You reading this isn't costing me anything is it (financially that is)?

Solicitor............To solicit.....

To beg!
To ask for!
To importune!
To Seek!
To petition for!
To request!
To crave!
To implore!

A disgraceful, manufactured service industry that has no moral origins and knows no moral bounds!

Be safe!!

lewdnuance- you've been watching too much telly.

Beast- thanks for that. I'll go and tell my conveyancing clients they can do everything themselves. (if there was an Emoticon for 'dripping with sourcasm', I would use it).

Emoticon for 'dripping with sourcasm'

???????? Explain please!

Over here you are called ''Gestorias''!

Totally in cahoots with local government and are allowed to levy ridiculous charges for the most trivial of paperwork!

A bloated and totally unnecessary service industry, in place to sponge as much from the working /classes and their ignorance of all things semi- official.

Be safe!

I mean, I do Residential Property work and I can not see how the ordinary man on the street could deal with it himself.

The existance of unnecessary paperwork- we can't change the rules. BUT we can deal with it for people. I would LOVE to have some influence with local government.

Maybe your views are based on your experience in Spain which has a very different legal system....
