OK, I have begun to worry.
If you check out the names on the memberlist here you can see fegg has no posts, but clearly fegg has indeed been posting. This cannot but lead one to the conclusion that there is some kind of editing of posts or indeed blocking of posters on this board. Looking back over what fegg posted I can see nothing that would lead a reasonable person to want to ban him, so why I ask has he been given this treatment?
So the question goes to whoever runs this site, why has fegg been banned. I thought the internet was aplace for free communication of ideas, a place where "the man" couldn't touch you. Evidently a small level of interference has gone on here too.
fegg, if you come back and read this you were appreciated by those of us who understood.
Sorry to get so serious, but what a shame an interesting character should be prevented from spreading his merryment just because a few straight laced oldies couldn't cope with a few jokes being made about their precious town - and I bet most of those getting worked up weren't even natives to the place.
Oh what sad days we are unfortunate to live through.

It pains me to realise that we have lost fegg, it seems he is gone for ever. Some of you johny come-latelies will think by reading through his posts you have a feel for him, but I have to tell you that in the day it was all very exciting. We can all enjoy the brilliance that was fegg, talk about him when we're eating dinner etc, but those of us who were there still remember the excitement of checking to see his latest post.
So I'm considering starting up a club for those people interested in keeping fegg's memory alive. Maybe we could print off t sghirts, start up a website all of our own, but no face to face meetings (those things never go well).
Sue, despite your anti-fegg stand, if you ever repent you'd be welcome too. Just think of it, a place where us feggies (I just came up with that name myself) could hang and forget the worries of our high powered jobs, a place where people don't see the wheel chair but the person.
If anyone is interested, perhaps our first activity could involve persuading fegg to return. I'd happily take on the role of financial secretary, but don't ask me to chair the bloody thing, I've just got too much on at the moment, what with work and the kids, I just couldn't even think about it. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is, so please just leave it. No wonder people are starting to think about leaving the organisation with this kind of pressure being brought to bare, we've all got other commitments, you can't expect us to make fegg our lives, I for one think some people are just spending too much emotion on him, I feel I'm in over my head.
The ironic thing is I felt slightly pleased that Billy's post had been removed when I first saw what the chap who runs this site had done, but it has bitten me back now that he's banned fegg too.
Anyway, I'm too busy to go on with this, maybe I'll come back in twenty minutes or so to talk about this in some detail.

Bobby, Sue, sincere thanks for your kindness, and of course you're right, my concern is leading to impatience. I've seen similar feelings growing amongs Orthodox Jews as they anticipate the coming of the Messiah, I really must see this short gap in perspective. It's funny how the mind plays tricks when you're emotional.
Oh fegg, you were a callow youth when we first "met", and now time has grafted whiskers on those once smooth cheeks. But as time wanders on I find myself drawing nearer to the form of fegg than ever the reality could bare.
If you have been away, perhaps a few words to assure your people, myself, Sue and Bobby, that our waiting is not in vain.
Sue, so glad you came round in the end, and Bobby, glad to have you aboard.

Yes, I am the alter-ego of me Fegg, no I'm not, yes you are, who is? you are? Who are you? who said that? etc.
and if you're reading this Bert, I was not the one who suggested it.
Alas, since the accident, time is what I have a lot of, don't despise me for trying to fill it.

I shouldn't think so crusty - ooh they're hostile in those parts, no wonder Mr Fegg is drinking (Webjanitor's accusation) or else can't face the aggression anymore. It seems the gritted teeth and urging for a fight people are beginning to turn on me. I'm off.
