About St Davids
The city of St Davids is situated on the far south west coast of Wales. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II because of the presence of the cathedral St Davids is in reality a small attractive village. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St Davids is surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery renowned for its beauty and abundance of wildlife.
Whitesands Bay, one of the many beautiful beaches in the area, carries the prestigious European Blue Flag Award.
St Davids Cathedral has been the dominant presence since the 12th century and was a popular pilgrimage destination throughout the middle ages and indeed remains so to this day attracting thousands of visitors every year. Adjacent to the cathedral stand the magnificent ruins of the medieval Bishops Palace.

Am Tyddewi
Bydd y ddinas Tyddewi yn sefyll ar y man pellach a mwyaf dwyreinol ar arfordir de Cymru. Fe gafod y statws dinas gan y frenhines Elizabeth II oblegid phresenoldeb yr eglwys gadeiriol, ond - yn wir- dim ond pentref bach bychan yw Tyddewi. Yn sefyll tu fewn y parc arfordir genedlaethol sir benfro, gyda golygfeydd rhyfeddol o'i amgylch, bydd Tyddewi yn enwog am ei harddwch a digonnedd ei bywyd gwyllt.
Mae Traeth Mawr, un o draethau prydferthaf yr ardal, yng nghludo'r wobr amlwg y Baner Glas Ewrop.
Mae Eglwys Gadeiriol Tyddewi wedi bod ym mhresenoldeb arbennig ers y 12ed ganrif, ac yr oedd yn nodd boblogaidd, bererindod trwy'r canol rhifau ac mae e byth heddiw yn tynnu filoedd o ymwelwyr bob blwyddyn. Cyfagos i'r eglwys gadeiriol mae distryw gwych canoloesol y llys yr esgob yn sefyll.
